Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains how StrixGeo handles personal data on strixgeo.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is:

What we collect, and why

We do not use analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers, and we do not sell or rent your data.

The desktop application

StrixGeo needs no account, key or activation, and your project data stays on your own machine. StrixGeo keeps a redacted diagnostics log on your disk and sends nothing by itself; sending it to a server would need your explicit opt-in and a configured endpoint, neither of which the app offers today.

Who processes it for us

How long we keep it

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@strixgeo.com and we will act on it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).

Cookies

This site uses only essential browser storage; see the Cookie Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product develops; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
